And I have a feeling that you’ll feel the same way! Allow me to introduce you to Bowie The Tuxedo Cat, a cat with heterochromatic eyes in a stunning blue and gold combination that you won’t find anywhere else.
With his lengthy tuxedo-patterned coat and enormous whiskers, Bowie the Tuxedo Cat is a true spectacle. He was saved from PAWS – Progressive Animal Welfare Society in Washington state, and when his current owners first laid eyes on him, they were immediately smitten with his charming appearance. Despite not seeing his striking eyes at first, they knew he was the one for them. After they brought him home, they selected a name that matched his personality and mesmerizing eyes, and from that point on, they have enjoyed countless happy memories together! Bowie is a laid-back kitty who relishes life’s simple pleasures, such as going on romantic strolls to his food dish.
Bowie, also known as Bow, is becoming quite the Instagram sensation due to his irresistible charm. He’s a natural at modeling and always provides an enjoyable viewing experience. Residing in Seattle, Washington with his owners and cat companion Olive, Bowie spends his free time serving fantastic poses for the camera or taking a well-deserved cat nap. He’s also an avid bird watcher, so keeping an eye on the skies is a top priority for him.

The individual’s Instagram bio indicates that they possess a unique personality, being sour initially and later sweet like a cat. This cat, named Bowie, appears to have abundant purrsonality. Scarlett French, the owner, kindly agreed to answer some queries I had about this remarkably impressive feline. Here is what she shared about Bowie: Initially, he was rescued and came into her life when she and her husband walked by PAWS cat city after attending a comedy show late in the evening. From outside, they saw several cats playing or sleeping, but Bowie was curled up and gazing directly at them, winning them over with his endearing demeanor. The next day, they contacted the shelter to inquire about him and were informed that he was on hold until 5 pm, but they could still visit him. They took a chance and hoped for the best!
We had the opportunity to interact with him during the night, but it wasn’t until we saw his eyes up close that we realized how special they were. We were completely enamored! Luckily, we were able to take him home when the hold was lifted, and we gave him the name Bowie – inspired by David Bowie, who also had mismatched eyes. It took some time for our other kitty, Olive, to adjust to having a new friend around, but now they’re inseparable. We’re absolutely smitten with our precious Bow. How would you describe his character?
To put it simply, he’s a laid-back and easygoing feline! He’s also incredibly affectionate and inquisitive. Whenever we have dogs over for fostering, Bowie is the first to approach them and rub against their legs, regardless of whether they appreciate it or not (hilarious!). He thrives on human company and enjoys being in close proximity to us, though he’s not one for snuggling up.
What makes him unique? Well, for starters, he’s probably one of the quietest cats you’ll ever meet! Despite being a chatterbox when it comes to birds, Bowie has never meowed in our presence. It’s quite amusing, really, because my partner and I have had our fair share of vocal felines in the past. But Bowie? He’s a mute! This quirk just adds to his charm, and we feel so lucky to have him in our lives. Bowie, you may be an odd-eyed cat, but you’re perfect just the way you are. Your beauty and sweet nature make the world a better place.
