Travis Kelce Responds to Questions About Proposing to Taylor Swift

Part 1 of 2

At the Super Bowl’s opening night, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce faced a flood of questions about his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. One hot topic was whether he planned to propose to Swift at Super Bowl LIX, a question that sparked debate among fans.

Kelce responded playfully to reporters pressing him on the subject. When asked directly if he would propose at halftime, he quipped, “Wouldn’t you like to know.” Another reporter followed up with the same question, to which he laughed, “Man, back to back, you guys are crazy.” He never gave a direct answer, leaving fans divided.

Some speculated he wasn’t interested in marriage, while others felt Swift might be the one hesitant. A few argued that a Super Bowl proposal wouldn’t be ideal, with one saying, “No girl would want that.” Meanwhile, some fans hoped for an engagement, while others defended Kelce’s choice to keep things private.

Kelce was more open about the challenges of balancing his relationship with Swift, especially during the playoffs. He acknowledged that time apart had played a role in their success and emphasized the importance of their connection. He also admired Swift’s work ethic, joking, “I better hold up my end of the bargain, right?” and praising her dedication.

On a lighter note, he revealed his favorite meal Swift makes, saying, “She is quite the cook… her homemade pop-tarts are unbelievable.”

Their relationship has consistently been in the spotlight, especially after a surprise party Kelce threw for Swift on December 18, 2024, celebrating the end of her record-breaking $2 billion Eras Tour. The event was a glamorous affair, with Swift dazzling in a black Balmain halterneck minidress adorned with silver sequins and crystals.

She accessorized with diamond jewelry and a friendship bracelet, a signature from her tour. Guests embraced the Eras theme with outfits inspired by Swift’s different musical eras.
