The Sussexes delighted fans with a sweet video of their children, Archie and Lilibet, preparing Valentine’s Day treats, but it also sparked curiosity about their appearances.
On February 14, Meghan Markle took to Instagram to share a heartwarming glimpse into the family’s Valentine’s celebration. The clip showed Archie and Lilibet helping their mother cut strawberries into heart shapes before spreading strawberry cream cheese onto a bagel.
Since returning to social media on New Year’s Day after a four-year break, Meghan, 43, has been sharing updates under the handle @meghan. However, she and Prince Harry have consistently kept their children’s faces hidden, a decision reportedly made for security reasons.
A source previously explained that while Prince William’s children benefit from increased protection, the same does not apply to Archie and Lilibet, prompting the Sussexes to maintain a lower profile for their kids.
In this recent post, Lilibet’s hands and midsection were visible, while the back of Archie’s head appeared in another shot. However, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed inconsistencies, particularly in their hair color. In past images, both children seemed to have inherited Harry’s red hair, but in this clip, Archie’s hair appeared noticeably darker.
This led to speculation online, with users questioning the change in hair color and some even doubting whether the children in the video were actually Archie and Lilibet.
Another point of discussion was Lilibet’s size. Some viewers expressed surprise that she appeared larger than her older brother, despite being two years younger. Online comments ranged from confusion over their apparent growth differences to skepticism about whether the children in the video were truly Archie and Lilibet.
This isn’t the first time Lilibet has made an appearance online recently. She was also featured on the newly relaunched website for her mother’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. Previously known as American Riviera Orchard, the site focuses on food, gardening, and lifestyle.
Explaining the name change, Meghan shared on Instagram that she initially liked “American Riviera” because it reflected her Santa Barbara neighborhood. However, partnering with Netflix inspired her to choose a name that offered broader possibilities. “I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment, and it’s called As Ever,” she stated.
On the site, a photo shows Lilibet walking barefoot alongside Meghan through a scenic field, with palm trees in the background and the ocean on the horizon.
