Everyone is saying the same thing about Meghan Markle’s ‘crown’ after new post

Royal fans were quick to react after noticing a “crown” on Meghan Markle’s monogram in a recent social media post by a U.S. influencer.

Influencer Amanda Hirsch, who previously expressed skepticism about Meghan’s authenticity in her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, recently received a handwritten note from the Duchess of Sussex. In a post shared after the series aired, Amanda wrote, “You guys, I’m scared for Meghan.”

Meghan, upon learning of the post, responded with a note that read:

“Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be. This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it.”

She signed off with “As ever, Meghan.”

Amanda shared the note on Instagram with the caption “OH MY DUCHESS.” However, what caught the attention of royal watchers was the presence of a “crown” in Meghan’s monogram at the top of the letter. This has been a point of contention since she stepped down as a senior royal in 2020.

The comment section quickly filled with criticism. One user wrote, “Why does her monogram have a crown? This woman loves cashing in on the Royal Family while hating them and everything they stand for. GROSS.”

Another added, “A crown, @Meghan? Really? [cry-laughing emoji] You’re in Cali, Meghan Markle! Stay cool, Amanda. [red-heart emoji].”

A third remarked, “Crowned M on the stationery? She lost that privilege when she stepped down… Disappointing to see, but not shocking at all.

Aside from fan reactions, Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, also weighed in, labeling his daughter “inauthentic” following the release of her series.

The father and daughter have been estranged since before Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

Speaking to the Mail, Thomas Markle commented: “Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed. It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions. I know when she’s faking it for the cameras. She’s trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her.”
