Meghan Markle Shares Mother’s Day Snap Of Lilibet And Archie After Being Brutally Trolled On ‘SNL’

Part 1 of 2

Meghan Markle recently shared a lighthearted and heartfelt Mother’s Day moment with her children, giving fans a rare look into her life as a mom.

Shortly after Meghan and Prince Harry were the subject of a sharp skit on Saturday Night Live, the Duchess of Sussex offered a softer contrast by posting a candid family photo featuring her son Archie, 6, and daughter Lilibet, 3.

She paired the image with a touching message, opening with a cheerful “Happy Mother’s Day!” on Sunday, May 11.

“Cheers to juggling it all with joy!” she wrote, showing herself with her arms full, as Archie and Lilibet clung to her like “mama mountain.”

She continued, “To these two gems – who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain,’ smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure.”

Calling motherhood the “greatest privilege of [her] life,” Meghan concluded her post with a sweet sentiment: “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.’”

Her touching tribute came just after SNL took aim at the Sussexes during a “Weekend Update” segment.

During the bit, host Colin Jost, 42, joked, “President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the UK that will reopen British markets for American companies. All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two,” as a photo of Harry and Meghan appeared onscreen.

Earlier this year, Meghan rejoined Instagram and has since been sharing glimpses of her life in Montecito, California.

On May 9, the couple were seen attending Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The two looked relaxed and affectionate during the outing.
