Lip reader reveals what Prince William and Kate Middleton whispered about the Sussexes while standing right in front of them

According to a lip reader, the future king was heard saying: “I know it’s bad, I ought to have words with him. He’ll shout and God knows what but things’ll change, won’t it?”

But that wasn’t the only aspect of the so-called “Fab Four” that drew attention during the event.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, a body language expert pointed out that Kate appeared “expressionless.”

Blanca Cobb said: “As Meghan waves, she and Harry say hi. Kate doesn’t look in their direction but talks briefly to the lady in white [Sophie, Countess of Wessex] who’s seated right behind her. As Kate sits down, her face is expressionless.”

She also remarked that the overall vibe between the two couples felt rather “lackluster.”

Cobb added: “Even though it’s a formal occasion, Kate could have smiled or waved.”

This moment happened during the Commonwealth Day ceremony on March 9, just a few weeks before Harry and Meghan’s final day as working royals on March 31. Despite stepping back officially at the end of March, the couple had already made their intentions clear back in January 2020, announcing they would leave their royal duties and relocate to the U.S.

Since then, they’ve embarked on several new ventures—especially Meghan, who’s launched a podcast, released a Netflix series, and introduced her own lifestyle brand.
