Quadruplets’ Mom Shares Incredible Before-And-After Pregnancy Photos
Lindsay met her husband, Syman, while abroad and the two had a whirlwind romance. The two married and Syman, originally from Aᴜsᴛʀᴀʟɪᴀ, moved to the Uɴɪᴛᴇᴅ Sᴛᴀᴛᴇs with Lindsay so they could start their life together. In no time, the happy couple had their first child — a son named Carson. Lindsay and Syman both wanted a big family so they started trying for more kids.
Before this mom would give birth to quadruplets, she would endure a difficult journey.
In their quest to have another baby, Lindsay ended up sᴜғғᴇʀɪɴɢ 𝟻 ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇs. She says: “You carry the ᴘᴀɪɴ ᴏғ ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ with you wherever you go . And even after being on the other side with my rainbow babies here, it sᴛɪʟʟ ʜᴜʀᴛs. I don’t think I’ll ever fully heal. It definitely made me stronger, though , and gave me new perspective and appreciation for just how big of a miracle these babies and all babies really are.”
Syman and Lindsay Hay enlisted the help of doctors and ғᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴛʏ sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟɪsᴛs.
Still, it got to the point where Lindsay felt like she’d never hold a newborn baby in her arms again. But then, Gᴏᴅ sent a miracle… well, 4 miracles! When Lindsay found out she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ ᴡɪᴛʜ ǫᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛs, she couldn’t believe it. And she sᴛʀᴜɢɢʟᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ sʜᴀᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ɪᴍᴘᴀᴄᴛ ᴏꜰ ʜᴇʀ 5 ᴘʀᴇᴠɪᴏᴜs ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇs.
She welcomed Caiden Michael, Madison Grace, Lucas Willam and Grayson James on July 23, 2019. Though all four needed breathing support when they were born at 30 weeks, Hay describes their 45-day NICU stay as “uneventful.”
“They’re thriving,” the New Jersey mom of five gushed.
While the babies had to be kept in the N.I.C.U in the months after their birth, Lindsay revealed that she and Syman were able to bring daughter Madison and Caiden home on September 7, while Lucas and Grayson joined them two days later. The mom said of giving birth to her quadruplets: “The day my doctor said it was time was probably the first time I truly believed they’d be mine. There’s really no comparing it to my sɪɴɢʟᴇᴛᴏɴ ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ. With Carson, I was blissfully unaware of all that could go ᴡʀᴏɴɢ and enjoyed every moment. But at last, here they were — 4 beautiful, healthy babies!”
Lindsay Hay carried her quadruplets “on the inside” for 30 weeks and 4 days.
So, 30 weeks and 4 days after this mom ɢᴀᴠᴇ ʙɪʀᴛʜ to her quadruplets, she decided to post a before and after photo on social media. Hay shared side-by-side pictures that racked up nearly 67,000 likes on Instagram. And the touching image, along with what Lindsay had to say, quickly went viral! In one image, Hay is seen showing off her third-trimester baby bump; in the other, she is holding her four adorable infants.
IN & OUT DAY!
I carried these sweet babies for 30 weeks and 4 days on the inside and here they are at 30 weeks and 4 days on the outside! Full hands, full heart is an understatement! They have surpassed every hope and dream I had envisioned during my pregnancy and even though time is passing quickly I know the best is yet to be. Behind these babies are new marks, rolls, and skin you can’t see but they also came with new strengths I didn’t have before either. We have been so BLESSED and I won’t ever let myself take this life for granted. 💛 #strongasamother
