Queen Camilla ‘stormed out’ after King Charles’ remarks about EastEnders star Carli Norris’ legs

She also shared that she was later invited to Buckingham Palace as one of 100 “National Treasures” for Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee in 2022. At first, Carli thought the invite was a joke, but once she confirmed it was real, she attended the event with her daughter.

“I can only imagine, Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, that Prince Charles has been following my career and he’s the one who wanted me sitting near him for his mum’s jubilee. That’s what I can imagine,” she joked.

Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, the podcast host, then joked that Carli could be expecting a damehood now that Charles is king.

Camilla on ‘secret’ of her marriage to Charles

King Charles and Queen Camilla recently marked their 20th wedding anniversary during their state visit to Italy.

While there, Camilla was asked about the secret to their long-lasting marriage.

“20 years, who could believe it was 20 years? What is the secret? I don’t know. Well, I suppose it’s just sort of friendship, really,” she said.

“Laughing at the same things, getting on with life,” she added.

She went on to share: “We are always going in different directions, like ships that pass in the night really. We whizz past each other. In fact, we have got a bit of a catch-up this afternoon.”
