The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among roughly 300 celebrity guests who gathered on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $165 million Beverly Hills estate to celebrate the milestone in true Hollywood style.

However, it was Meghan’s fashion choice that lit up social media, drawing a mix of fascination and critique. Many online commentators fixated on her look from the Baby2Baby Gala — an ensemble that quickly became the subject of viral speculation.

One Instagram user bluntly described her outfit as “a tablecloth wrapped around her,” while another joked, “Why is she wearing a bathing suit wrap with a turtleneck?”
