I saw my spouse continuously bringing up the inheritance money and making numerous ideas about how I should spend it. Another thing is that he expects me to pay for almost everything during the last few weeks.

My husband and I recently met up with his family at a restaurant to celebrate a holiday. It was going well until I discovered that I was supposed to pay for everyone at the table. My husband’s mother made a joke about paying for supper out of my “inheritance pocket,” which infuriated me, but I had no reply. I just discreetly paid for my own dinner and drinks.
