Opinion: Meghan Markle’s ‘cold’ revenge against Kate Middleton – why the Duchess’ latest move leaves the palace furious

Nobody is convinced that the bridges that connect the Sussexes to the other royals will be rebuilt anytime soon because they are still completely destroyed by fire.

Both Harry and Meghan reached out to King Charles and Kate Middleton after they were diagnosed with cancer, offering their support and well wishes. However, that was not viewed as an olive branch, and as a result, their relationship has remained contentious and hasn’t changed.

After learning of his father’s sickness, Prince Harry traveled to Britain to meet with him. This made a controversy and infuriated many, including Camilla, who thought the visit was more of a publicity gimmick than a sincere gesture towards his father.

Harry returned to London for the Invictus Games last week, but the King’s hectic schedule prevented him and his father from seeing each other.

Harry’s spokesperson said the Prince “hopes to see him soon”

Despite the fact that Harry and his family have not been on good terms since he and Meghan resigned their royal responsibilities, the Sussexes are well-liked in the United States and lead fulfilling lives with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, who were crowned Prince and Princess soon after Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Even after they left their royal responsibilities, they were nevertheless presented with pecuniary opportunities. They negotiated a four-book agreement with their publisher in September 2020, which reportedly includes a whopping $20 million advance and worldwide revenues for Harry’s book Spare, potentially amounting to over $120 million. They also signed a lucrative five-year, $100 million production deal with Netflix. They also landed a $20 million deal with Spotify, which industry analysts believe is worth about $35 million.

Although Prince Harry started the Invictus Games for veterans all over the world, it’s difficult not to wonder if it could be an even greater publicity success.

In addition to being well-liked in America, Harry and Meghan now appear to be acceptable in other nations. The two recently traveled to Nigeria, an African nation where they were greeted as royalty.

Meghan revealed the results of a DNA test she had conducted, revealing that she was 43 percent Nigerian, just before the trip that was supposed to further the couple’s work related to the Invictus Games. This made the trip to Nigeria more intimate.

In addition to taking selfies and enjoying all the fun parts of being royalty without having to answer to the Firm, Harry and Meghan greeted the audience that had come to see them with big smiles. In the meantime, Buckingham Palace received a great deal of unwanted attention as a result of their visit, and the Sussexes were able to change the story to their advantage without having to deal with any royal issues.

Kate and William were upset about the Sussexes’ trip because it felt like a royal engagement, according to royal analyst Tom Quinn, who spoke to Mirror.

The receptions, the trips to charities and schools, the visits to injured warriors and the disabled—everything you could anticipate from an official royal visit was there, he claimed.

Meghan used this vacation to repair her reputation while pretending to be a “non-royal” princess.

Meghan is preparing to introduce her lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard, while Kate deals with her own issues. Some saw Meghan’s recent trip to Nigeria as her “cold” retaliation against Kate and the other royals, while others see it as a sign of a bright new beginning for her and Harry.

However, much like the rest of us, Meghan and Harry still want Kate to get better as quickly as possible.
