Meghan ‘thought she would be a princess’ living in Windsor Castle

Part 1 of 2

The inner workings of the royal family have always intrigued the public, and recent insights from royal author Ingrid Seward add another layer to the story. According to Seward, Meghan Markle may have felt envious of Princess Kate, largely because of Prince Harry’s deep admiration for her. Additionally, reports suggest that Meghan once dreamed of becoming a princess and living in Windsor Castle—an aspiration that ultimately went unfulfilled.

Meghan’s alleged envy

Royal expert Ingrid Seward offers an intriguing perspective on Meghan Markle’s feelings toward Princess Kate, hinting at a sense of envy within the royal family. She speculates that Meghan may have felt outshined by Prince Harry’s deep admiration for Kate, which could have sparked feelings of insecurity or competition.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Seward noted that Prince Harry and Princess Kate had a strong bond long before he met Meghan, who was then starring in Suits.

“Psychologically, I think he just adored her, and he was always there at Kensington Palace…” she told the publication.
