Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘three demands’ from King Charles after pleading for reconciliation

Part 1 of 2

As speculation continues around a possible reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles, a royal expert claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have specific conditions if peace talks are to move forward.

The rift between the Sussexes and the Royal Family has remained unresolved since the couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California. Despite recent gestures suggesting Harry may be open to repairing ties, insiders say any reunion may depend on major concessions from the monarchy.

Harry’s recent comments reignite reconciliation rumors

Prince Harry recently addressed the status of his relationship with his father during a televised interview, revealing that King Charles was no longer speaking to him. While he stopped short of blaming the monarch, he expressed hope for reconciliation — particularly as Charles continues to undergo cancer treatment.

According to reports, Harry has considered inviting his father to the 2027 Invictus Games, an international sporting event for injured veterans that he founded. While such an invitation could mark a symbolic step forward, sources say it would likely be extended through the Invictus organization rather than from Harry personally.

Still, the gesture has stirred renewed public curiosity over whether the once-close father-son bond could be mended.

Expert: Sussexes may seek public engagement, royal options for children

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Express that any meaningful dialogue would likely be “highly sensitive” — and come with expectations from Harry and Meghan.
