A Utah Father And Daughter Are D*ead After A Bulldozer Fell On Top Of Their Pickup Truck Over The Weekend

A devastating accident in Ogden Canyon on Saturday took the lives of Richard David Hendrickson, CEO and president of Lifetime Products, and his 16-year-old daughter Sally.

As described by the Utah Highway Patrol, a bulldozer being towed by a truck broke loose and fell onto their pickup truck, killing them instantly.

The accident happened as the tow vehicle, towing a small bulldozer, navigated a sharp right-hand curve. The bulldozer broke loose and slid into Hendrickson’s GMC pickup.

Both Hendrickson and Sally were declared deceased at the scene, while two other adult passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Lifetime Products honored Hendrickson, describing him as more than just a company leader.

They highlighted his diverse talents, legendary mechanical aptitude, and exceptional ability to connect with people. Hendrickson also served as the stake president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox expressed his condolences on X, mourning the loss of his friend and leader, and offering prayers for the grieving family. This tragic event has left a profound impact on the community, with many mourning the loss of Hendrickson and his daughter
