Buckingham Palace fears one specific move Prince Harry could make after legal action

Prince Harry’s latest legal efforts have reportedly sparked renewed concern within royal circles, with fears growing that he could once again voice his frustrations publicly—possibly through another book or a podcast.

According to reports, Buckingham Palace is worried that the Duke of Sussex, 40, might follow up his memoir Spare with a second tell-all, especially in light of his ongoing legal dispute over personal security arrangements in the UK. After relocating to the United States, Harry lost the British taxpayer-funded police protection he once had, and he’s since been fighting a lengthy legal battle in the High Court to have it reinstated.

Sources close to the matter claim Harry sees the decision to revoke his security as “a means of trying to force them back into Britain and establishment life, by making visits to the UK as outsiders more difficult and potentially unsafe.” This belief could be fueling his motivation to consider another revealing project aimed at the royal institution.

A source speaking to The Sun explained that concerns have mounted over what the Prince may do next, especially in the aftermath of what is seen as a deeply personal legal challenge. “This is clearly intensely personal. There are fears about what he might do if the decision goes against him. This could not come at a worse time,” they said on Saturday.

There are also worries that Harry could once again use the media to express his discontent, whether through a second book or by launching a podcast, following in Meghan’s footsteps.

“There’s a lot of worry that Harry could tell all in a book deal or even follow Meghan’s lead and make a podcast,” the source continued. “He’s hinted he has discovered secrets during the hearings — particularly regarding the treatment of him and Meghan — that would shock us all. It is a veiled threat essentially that he will tell all if it doesn’t go the way he wants it to.”

Though there are concerns that the Prince may be gearing up to speak out once more, it’s understood that he’s feeling “overwhelmed” by the continuous stream of legal battles, which have now stretched over three years since his departure from royal life.

Speaking to The Telegraph after a two-day hearing at the court of appeal, Harry admitted that the removal of his security detail had been “difficult to swallow.” He noted that among all the legal disputes he has faced since stepping down from royal duties, the fight over his personal protection “always mattered the most.”

However, much of the appeal proceedings this week—along with last year’s initial hearing—were conducted in private, involving what has been described as “highly confidential” information submitted to the court.

Following his appearance, Harry said that people “would be shocked by what’s being held back.” He added, “My worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad.”
