A professional lip reader has reviewed new footage of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie at their latest public engagement and believes the elder sister delivered a blunt “warning” tied to their father’s most recent humiliation.
A Rare Public Sighting
For anyone who missed it, the sisters were seen on 7 November attending a meeting near Green Park and Buckingham Palace — an unusual outing since both women maintain full-time careers.
It was also the first time Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, stepped out publicly following the announcement that their father, the former Prince Andrew, had officially been stripped of his remaining royal titles and honours.
Andrew’s Titles Removed After New Revelations
King Charles III made the decision last month after further details surfaced about the 65-year-old’s long-criticised association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has also been accused of abusing Virginia Giuffre on three occasions when she was underage, after she was allegedly trafficked by Epstein. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial.
When announcing the removal of Andrew’s final titles, a representative for Buckingham Palace stated:
“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.”
His “Duke of York” title had already been taken away weeks earlier — just three days before the posthumous release of Giuffre’s memoir detailing her alleged encounters with Andrew.
With the removal of his princedom came confirmation that he will be forced out of Royal Lodge, the property he has shared with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson since 2004.
The Sisters’ Quiet Conversation Under Scrutiny
A lip reader has now analysed viral footage of Beatrice and Eugenie walking together during that appearance, suggesting the pair exchanged a deeply personal conversation about the allegations surrounding their father.
Lip-reading specialist Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail that Beatrice appeared to warn her younger sister that public engagements are “going to get harder,” adding that “we can’t do anything” to undo what has happened.
Hickling reports that Beatrice reassured Eugenie by saying, “We’re in this together, don’t forget that.”
Eugenie’s alleged response was, “Everything is changing,” to which Beatrice supposedly acknowledged that it is a “really anxious time” for members of the royal family.
Public Reaction: Sympathy or Staged Moment?
What seemed like a private moment between two distressed sisters has not convinced everyone. Some sceptics have questioned the authenticity of the exchange.
One Reddit commenter reportedly criticised the scene, saying:
“PR trick to get public sympathy… This is staged.
They 100 per cent showed up here after calling the paps to take pictures of them hugging.”
