Another source shared that since getting his own place, Affleck has been feeling “hopeful.” Because of the new property’s proximity to his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Garner, he can co-parent far more readily.

As for Lopez, a source close to her noted that she is “also ready to move forward and is ready to close this chapter cordially.”

“The timing of the transition made her birthday a bit more difficult, but with the support of her friends and family, she’s doing her best day by day,” the source went on.

This was not the first time Lopez and Affleck were together. The couple were originally together from 2002 to 2004. They called off their first engagement in January 2004. However, they reunited and rekindled their relationship in 2021, tying the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022.
