Results of Donald Trump’s Annual Physical Examination Released by White House

Part 2 of 2

Still, a few offered praise. “Impressive results,” one person wrote. “Say what you will, but energy and mental acuity at that level is not easy to maintain.” Another added, “Leading a nation takes stamina, physical and mental. Not easy to do at his age.”

Prior to the exam, there had been growing public and expert concern about Trump’s health given his age and demanding schedule. Dr. Daniel Atkinson from Treated.com noted that people approaching 80 face increased risks of weight fluctuation and insulin resistance, making regular checkups essential.

Trump, however, appeared confident ahead of the exam, posting on Truth Social, “I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!” After the checkup, he told reporters on Air Force One, “I think I did well,” and confirmed that the full results would be shared, which they were days later.

He praised the medical team and said while a few lifestyle suggestions were made, he chose not to detail them. He also proudly shared that he answered every question on the cognitive test correctly, adding, “I have a good heart and a very good soul.”

Dr. Mark Siegel, a Fox News medical contributor, weighed in on the findings, highlighting Trump’s improved cholesterol (now 167, down from 223 in 2018), blood pressure (128/70), and weight loss.

Siegel praised the president’s mental sharpness and described his energy level as youthful. “Inspiratory,” he said, calling Trump a strong example of healthy aging.

Trump’s latest results show notable improvement over previous exams. His earlier weight of 244 pounds had placed him in the obese category, but his current BMI now falls into the overweight range.

Alongside improvements in blood pressure and a consistently low resting heart rate of 62 bpm, Trump appears to be in better shape than in past years — with credit given to both medication and some lifestyle changes.
