Royal couple quietly announce birth of new baby as pictures are released

Part 2 of 2

Prince Josef is the son of Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg and Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, meaning he belongs to two royal houses. On his mother’s side, he is also the grandson of the late Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg and Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium.

Currently 16th in line to the throne of Liechtenstein, Prince Josef wed Claudia Echavarria three years ago in a beautiful ceremony at the Iglesia de San Pedro Claver church.

A Quiet and Heartfelt Reveal

The couple surprised everyone with their low-key approach, casually disclosing their baby’s birth on social media without any grand announcement.

The princess also expressed gratitude to those who supported her during the first few weeks of motherhood, writing: “Eternally grateful for these women @almapartera @haneshapeinado @drakarenperez @gabriellamcampagna @perezcastroi.”

Among the shared photos, one showed Nikolai in a blue knitted jumper embroidered with his name, while another captured a cozy moment of him lying in bed with his mother.

Warm Congratulations from Fans

Followers quickly filled the comments with warm wishes. One wrote: “Wow!! Congratulations Clo, how special, lots of love to the 4 of you.” Another added: “Congratulations on Nikolai — beautiful name for a beautiful baby.”

Others praised the princess, with one commenting: “You look so beautiful postpartum! Congratulations!! I’m very happy for you and your family. May you heal easily and quickly.”

More fans joined in with messages like: “Congratulations what a beauty,” and, “Congrats Clo clo!!!! These pics are so cute!! Welcome Niki!!”
