Why Prince Louis did not attend Wimbledon with the rest of the Royal family as fans make sad point

Part 2 of 2

Dressed in a dark blazer, blue shirt, and striped tie, the young prince was clearly adhering to the strict dress code of Wimbledon’s exclusive Royal Box. The 74-seat section, reserved for dignitaries and special guests, prohibits denim, sports shoes, and casual wear such as hoodies. Children in the box are also expected to wear formal attire.

With the London summer heat in full force, many fans expressed sympathy for the young royal’s heavy outfit, suggesting it may have contributed to his serious demeanor.

Fans Weigh In on George’s Outfit

Social media lit up with comments from royal watchers who felt Prince George should have been allowed to dress more comfortably for the occasion.

“Did he have to be in a suit? Surely he could’ve worn a polo and shorts????” one Instagram user questioned.

“Poor kiddo, felt so sorry for him buttoned up in his suit & tie! No wonder he looks in a huff bless him,” another wrote. “Nice shirt & some shorts could have done.”

A third chimed in: “Poor kids probably boiling — normal kids are playing in paddling pools and eating ice cream, not sat around in full suits having to be perfectly behaved whilst everyone stares at them.”

No Official Response Yet

Tyla has reportedly reached out to Buckingham Palace for a comment regarding the dress code and Louis’ absence, but no official statement has been issued.
