Cast Iron Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs jumbo shrimp peeled, deveined
  • DanO’s Cheesoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white cooking wine
  • 1 stick kerry gold garlic herb butter
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

    • Get grill or oven preheated to 400 degrees.
    • Wipe moisture off shrimp with a paper towel and season with cheesing or desired seasoning.
    • Place evenly in 12″ cast iron skillet.
    • Drizzle olive oil over the top, then add white cooking wine.
    • Place pats of butter evenly in pan.
    • Add grated part to top.
    • Place in oven or on grill for around 12-15 min until shrimp are opaque.

  • Notes

These don’t cook quite as fast bc the cast iron is not preheated.  Keep an eye on them and they may be ready around 12 min or so.
