Combining the Power of Nature: Garlic, Ginger, Onion, Honey, Lemon Juice, and Grated Ginger

Experience the powerful powers of nature’s wealth with this vibrant combination of ginger, garlic, onion, honey, lemon juice, and shredded ginger. A synergistic blend of flavors and health benefits, this recipe may help improve your health in every way. To make a restorative elixir, mix these components together:

Things needed:

3 minced garlic cloves
Grated ginger, measuring 1 inch
1 thinly sliced tiny onion
raw honey, if available, 2 teaspoons
One lemon’s juice
Extra grated ginger, according to preference.

Instructions:

Toss the finely chopped onion, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
Toss in the honey and whisk well to incorporate. Garlic, ginger, and onion are all quite pungent tastes, but the honey will soften them.
Toss in the zest and juice of one lemon and give everything a good stir.
Make any necessary flavor adjustments by tasting the mixture. Add more grated ginger to taste if you want a stronger ginger flavor.
There are several ways to enjoy the benefits of this powerful blend:
Take a tablespoon of the mixture every day to help your immune system, particularly when the cold and flu season rolls around. Garlic, ginger, onion, and lemon are a powerful health-promoting combo because of the abundance of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants they contain.
Supports Digestive Health: If taken before meals, this concoction helps ease bloating and gas by getting the digestive juices moving.  The digestive qualities of ginger, garlic, and lemon juice are well-known, while honey has a calming influence on the digestive system.
Garlic, ginger, and onion all have antibacterial qualities that make them useful in the fight against respiratory infections and the relief of coughing and congestion. The vitamin C in lemon juice helps keep the respiratory system healthy, while the honey eases sore throats.
“Nature gives us a treasure trove of ingredients that can support our health and well-being,” Barbara O’Neill says. Make a powerful elixir that feeds the body and the spirit by mixing together ginger, garlic, onion, honey, lemon juice, and grated ginger.
