Tips and Tricks

A natural method to quickly and effectively eradicate bed bugs from your mattress

1. MICE

Because they are attracted to food and are carriers of infections and illnesses, mice are frequently seen in kitchens.

The solutions: You can catch them and release them outside, saving them from the slow, agonizing death that comes from placing them in traditional traps. Specific cages are available in stores; all you need to do to attract them in is cover the cage with newspaper and add some dried fruit or cheese.

Cloves and peppermint are two of mice’s biggest enemies. Distribute cotton balls or cloves infused with essential oil drops throughout your home. This will discourage rodents.

2. CROSSES

Powdered sugar and baking soda: In a basin, mix together the equivalent of one glass of each. Transfer the blend into mugs and keep them in the kitchen and other warm, moist spaces. Cockroaches are drawn to sugar, and once ingested, baking soda kills them.

Diatomaceous earth is a material that has natural pesticidal properties. Distribute it across dishes and position them in areas where cockroaches are likely to be present. Sprinkle some sugar on top to entice them in. Arrange the cucumber slices on a platter. As a matter of fact, this vegetable deters insects quite effectively.

Mix one tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk with one tablespoon of boric acid. Form a leg form and divide it into several cups to insert into the cockroaches’ openings. Do not hesitate to repeat the process after three weeks, or sooner if necessary, to eradicate the second generation of insects.

Lemon eucalyptus essential oil: If the infestation is just getting started, dab a few drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil on pieces of newspaper to drive out cockroaches. Place them in cockroach-prone areas.

Lavender essential oil: Dab little pieces of cotton with five to ten drops of premium lavender essential oil. Place them everywhere, especially in your cabinets, and reapply every day. Apply white vinegar wherever cockroaches gather, including beneath furniture, behind sinks, and on the bases of walls. The smell makes them hurry away.

3. BEDBUGS

How are bed bugs removed?

Wash all of your linens after removing the sheet, duvet cover, and pillowcase from your bed. Grab your pillow(s) and pull back your curtains. Next, fill the washing machine with everything and set it to the hot cycle. Dry your bedding on high heat for at least thirty minutes after doing your laundry. Above all, remember that this method works only on cotton garments; do not use it to wash delicate clothing. Rather, thoroughly read the labels on the laundry.

Get rid of bedbugs from your mattress: Since clean laundry can harbor bedbugs, don’t immediately put it back on your mattress. Make sure you use a hard brush to scrub your mattress completely in order to ensure that any bedbugs have been eliminated. Vacuum your mattress from top to bottom to ensure all bugs are gone, even if you still feel like there are any. Finally, make sure you have clean linens covering your mattress to guarantee a good night’s sleep. Use cautious; your mattress needs to go if the pollution level is too high. To stop bedbugs from invading the entire house, cover it with plastic before throwing it out.

How do you prevent bedbugs from coming back? Add the essential oils (clove, lavender, tea tree, or cinnamon) to a blender with equal parts water. Put the mixture on your furniture, beds, and curtains. You can apply it on other surfaces in your home if needed.

4. ANTS

Ants are attracted to anything sweet, so they can quickly enter your home and start eating your food.

The remedy: sugar and boric acid together remain the most effective home remedy for ants, just as they did for cockroaches. The scents of cinnamon, cloves, paprika, peppermint, and coffee grounds will immediately chase out every ant in your house. Flying fruit. They are harmless but rather annoying. To eliminate them, simply use a towel bathed in warm water to clean the regions surrounding the fruit drawer.
