Prince Harry’s choice to use the Queen’s childhood nickname, Lilibet, was seen by many as disrespectful—something he should have predicted.

Before Lilibet’s birth, Harry and Meghan faced deep grief. In 2020, Meghan suffered a miscarriage, an experience she described as unbearably painful.

Years later, Meghan still feels sadness around the miscarriage anniversary but finds joy in her family with Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

A source says, “They’re growing up so fast, and Meghan hates being away.” With Lilibet turning 3, both parents are feeling emotional watching the baby years slip by.

Will Prince Harry & Meghan Markle have a third child?

Meghan Markle may feel emotional as her kids grow up, but will she and Prince Harry consider baby #3? Some fans wonder if they’ll follow William and Kate’s lead with three children. But Harry made his stance clear back in 2019.

In a Vogue interview, he said he wants to help the environment by limiting the number of children he has. I’ve always had a love for nature,” Harry shared. “Even before having kids, I felt it was important to protect the planet.”

So while the idea of a third baby might be sweet, it seems Harry and Meghan are sticking to two—for the planet’s sake.

“What more can you ask for?”

In a past interview with Dr. Jane Goodall, Prince Harry said, “This place is borrowed… we should be able to leave something better behind.” He shared his belief in having just two children—for the sake of the planet.

Meghan echoed the sentiment in her 2021 Oprah interview: Any, one or two, would have been amazing… But to have a boy and then a girl—what more can you ask for?”

She added, “Now we’ve got our family. The four of us and our two dogs.” Harry confirmed: “We’re done.”

The couple seems firm on their decision. But who knows—could Montecito welcome a new royal baby in the future?
