Expert claims King Charles’ cancer is causing a headache for the Palace.

Part 2 of 2

This will be Charles’s 17th visit to Italy and his ninth official trip since becoming king. His former butler praised his determination, saying Charles is handling his duties with resilience and a positive spirit.

However, royal watchers note that the King looks noticeably more frail compared to past years. With few senior royals left to rely on, questions are rising about how long he can carry the heavy demands of the crown.

King Charles has lost two great friends in one year

King Charles has faced immense loss in recent years. In 2022, he mourned the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, which led to him assuming the throne. He expressed deep sadness, remembering her love and devotion to the family and the Commonwealth.

In March 2024, Charles lost another dear friend, Ian Farquhar, known as “The Captain.” Farquhar, a former equerry to the Queen Mother, passed away tragically after becoming trapped at his home. He had struggled with alcohol, despite his deep love for horses and a long history of service to the royal family.

King Charles “deeply saddened” by his good friend Ian Farquhar’s passing

King Charles has faced personal losses, including the passing of his close friend The Aga Khan at age 88. King Charles expressed deep sadness and has privately reached out to the family. As for abdicating, it’s unclear. Many believe he’ll stay on the throne as long as his health allows, though personal losses could influence his decision in the future.
