Jeffrey Epstein confirmed photo of ex-Prince Andrew and accuser Virginia Giuffre is real

Part 1 of 2

Jeffrey Epstein appeared to acknowledge in newly uncovered emails that the well-known photo of then-Prince Andrew standing beside his teenage accuser, Virginia Giuffre, was authentic — even though Andrew repeatedly implied it had been fabricated.

In a July 1, 2011 email to an unidentified reporter, the late sex offender wrote:
“Yes, she was on my plane, and yes, she had her picture taken with Andrew, just like many of my employees did.”
Epstein went on to attack Giuffre’s credibility, urging the reporter to dig into her past.

He fumed that Giuffre had accused “numerous people” of abusing her, naming high-profile lawyer Alan Dershowitz and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak as among those she had implicated.
“Not a single newspaper had the guts to question her credibility,” Epstein complained.

When the reporter replied that they “might be interested in that story” and asked if Andrew’s team would cooperate, Epstein insisted:
“I’ve never misled you. This girl is a complete liar. Authorities should check her Australian immigration form. You can talk to Dershowitz.
I’ll ask if Andrew’s people are willing to cooperate.”

Although Giuffre’s name is redacted in the email chain, the woman — who died by suicide this past April — was living in Australia at the time and had accused both Dershowitz and Barak, before later dropping a defamation suit against Dershowitz and admitting she may have been mistaken.

The trove of 20,000 documents released Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee also includes a panicked message from Andrew to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell on March 4, 2011. Andrew wrote after the Mail on Sunday reached out to Maxwell’s attorney before publishing the infamous photo for the first time.
