Meghan Markle is again under fire after she was spotted at a fancy restaurant where online users say she was flexing her wealth and holding court for the paparazzi.
The Duchess of Sussex was dripping in riches while she dined at a celebrity hotspot with Royal Pains actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley. But netizens suggest Meghan is “so insecure” that she staged paparazzi shots to steal the spotlight from her nephew Prince George on his 11th birthday.

On July 21, Meghan Markle, 42, and Father of the Bride actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley were seen leaving a trendy Italian restaurant in Montecito, California.
Tre Lune, a hotspot for A-list celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Kim Kardashian, is near the $14.5 million home where Meghan lives with Prince Harry and their young kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Williams-Paisley, 52, also lives in the area with her husband, country music star Brad Paisley, and their two children.
The women – both Northwestern University alumni – were wearing standout summer styles with the Nashville star keeping it simple with a floor-length breezy blue dress and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex was flaunting her riches with a $316 white ‘Mika’ shirt from designer Anine Bing, a pair of casual jeans and almost $70,000 of sparkling jewellery, not including the $350,000 engagement ring she wears on her finger.
Meghan also wore Ray-Ban aviator shades and clutched her Dior Lady D-Lite handbag, which according to Vogue was a style that Princess Diana loved so much the name was changed from Chouchou to Lady Dior.

After the images of Meghan leaving lunch were published on social media, some cyber fans took the opportunity to compare Prince Harry’s wife with his iconic mom, Princess Di.

While Meghan rocked the casual yet opulent look, many online citizens were unimpressed by the timing of her outing with Williams-Paisley, friends who have not been captured together in images until now.

“How pathetic is this woman that she releases a picture of herself the day of Harry’s nephew’s birthday? What a desperate attempt for attention by trying to push an 11-year-old out of the spotlight,” tweets one user, suggesting the Suits actor staged paparazzi images to upstage her nephew, Prince George on his birthday.
Sharing a similar opinion, a second user writes “Meghan is so insecure over [an] [11-year-old’s] birthday photo that she [does] yet another car park pap (paparazzi) shot. She is beyond a joke.”
A third says “It’s actually sad now,” while another adds, “Paps on speed dial this [woman] is so predictable.”
Meghan’s outing was the day before the little prince celebrated his birthday, and despite accusations, there is no confirmation that the Duchess of Sussex tried to draw attention from her nephew.

On July 22, the palace shared an adorable photo of Prince George and captioned it, “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”
