New ‘Christmas card’ of Prince Archie & Lilibet goes viral

A fake Christmas card with what appears to be an AI-generated photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children has gone viral on social media.

The card, reportedly made by a royal fan, offers an alleged glimpse of the couple’s rarely seen children: 5-year-old Prince Archie and 3-year-old Princess Lilibet.

The black-and-white image shows the fabricated Archie wearing a sweater and cargo pants, standing next to his younger sister. The fake Lilibet appears to be dressed in the same floral outfit seen in the Sussexes’ actual Christmas card.

The altered image also includes depictions of Harry and Meghan’s rescue dogs, Mia and Guy, positioned behind their children.

“Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet,” reads the fabricated card.

The image circulated widely on X (formerly known as Twitter), where critics were quick to point out that it was clearly fake.

“Creepy,” one fan commented.

“This is so very weird,” another added.

“A complete fabrication, 100% AI. And to think some people will believe this is real,” a different tweet stated.

One more user wrote, “Lili looks more like Archie than Archie does.”

“No one can create an AI-generated picture of Archie & Lili because we simply don’t know how their faces look like. Therefore AI doesn’t know either. The last photos of their faces are from when they were babies, and children’s appearances are changing with a speed of light,” a fan commented.

“The kids don’t even look like brother and sister. They look like exactly what they are AI,” another user tweeted.

“Worst photoshop ever,” someone else added.

The Post has contacted representatives for Harry and Meghan for a response.

Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, unveiled their official Christmas card earlier this month, showcasing a rare glimpse of their two children.

Among the six photos included on the card is an image of Archie and Lilibet — both sporting their dad’s signature red hair — running toward their parents. The family’s three dogs also make an appearance in the picture.

The card features five additional photos of Harry and Meghan from their visits to Nigeria and Colombia earlier this year.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation,” the Christmas card’s message read.

“We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” it continued.

Last week, Harry, Meghan, and their children celebrated a quiet Christmas at their home in California after being excluded once again from the royal family’s annual gathering at Sandringham House.

They spent the holiday at their Montecito home alongside Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, according to royal biographer Ingrid Seward.

“Meghan says it’s important for her that Archie and Lilibet can have ‘connective memories’ of Thanksgiving and Christmas at home and enjoy the traditions like putting out ‘carrots for the reindeer,’” Seward shared with The Mirror.

Meanwhile, the rest of Harry’s estranged family gathered at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk for Christmas Day.

King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, who have long attended morning mass at Sandringham Church during Christmas, were accompanied by Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
