People spot confusing details in Meghan Markle’s latest photo of her children

Part 1 of 2

It seems like no matter what Meghan Markle posts on Instagram, even if it’s a heartwarming photo of her snuggling with her two children, there’s always someone ready to criticize.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex, who shares two young kids – Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three – with her husband, Prince Harry, shared an adorable snap on Sunday (May 11) to celebrate Mother’s Day in the US.

But it didn’t take long for some people to rush online, pointing out a couple of very specific details about the children.

Meghan captioned the sweet photo: “Happy Mother’s Day! Cheers to juggling it all with joy!”

She also gave a special shout-out to Archie and Lilibet, saying: “And to these two gems – who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain’, smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure… being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life.”

She ended the caption with: “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.'”

But, as expected, critics quickly took to social media to highlight what they considered worth commenting on – specifically, the length and color of the children’s hair, as well as the length of one of Lilibet’s legs compared to a previous photo of her.

“Where is Archie’s and Lili’s red hair this week, Meghan Markle?” one internet user questioned, clearly confused by how hair can appear to change color depending on whether you’re in the shade or under the bright sun. “Last week, everyone was talking about their red hair while they were picking roses, but in today’s Mother’s Day photo, neither of them has it.”

“Even in the shade, their hair would still look lighter than brown,” another pointed out.

A second user chimed in, saying: “Her hair changed color.”
