Prince Harry tipped to ‘attend’ Trooping the Colour 2025 after his ‘reconciliation’ remarks

New odds suggest Prince Harry might make a surprise appearance at Trooping the Colour 2025.

The 40-year-old Duke of Sussex is currently at 5/2 odds to join the official birthday celebrations for the monarch in London this June.

Trooping the Colour is set for Saturday, June 14, featuring a parade and flypast to mark the monarch’s official birthday.

After Harry’s recent BBC interview where he openly discussed family conflicts and his wish to reconnect, speculation has grown about whether he will attend major royal events this year.

There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” Harry told the BBC. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.”

In response to this, Jose Del Pozo, spokesperson for Gambling Industry News, said that interest in Prince Harry’s movements has increased significantly.

Prince Harry’s recent remarks about wanting to return to the UK have reignited speculation around his potential involvement in key events this year,” Jose said.

Although the odds still favor him staying away for most of 2025, there is considerable interest in whether he will attend traditional events like Trooping the Colour and Remembrance Sunday, showing public curiosity about a possible reconciliation with the royal family.”

Current odds indicate that Harry is more likely to attend Trooping the Colour than any other event this year, with a 5/2 chance for the June ceremony.

By comparison, he has 3/1 odds to appear at Remembrance Sunday.

However, bookmakers believe the most likely outcome is that Harry will not return to the UK at all for the rest of 2025, with odds at 6/4.

But if King Charles extends an invitation to Trooping the Colour, could Harry make an appearance?

Did Prince Harry go to the Trooping of the Colour?

Trooping the Colour is a grand military parade and flypast, usually with the entire royal family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

If Harry shows up this year, it would be his first time attending since 2019, before he stepped back from royal duties.

There’s significant curiosity about whether he will take part in traditional events like Trooping the Colour.

Although the palace hasn’t officially confirmed Harry’s invitation or attendance, insiders say King Charles might be willing to reconcile despite ongoing tensions.

The king is reportedly saddened by the limited contact he has with Harry’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Another possible time for a royal gathering is the king’s actual birthday in November. At the moment, the odds of Harry attending any events are 2/1.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have mostly stayed away from royal duties since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020 and moving to California.

They’ve only come back to the UK a few times, including for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022 and King Charles’ coronation in 2023, which Harry attended.

Right now, all attention is on June. The yearly Trooping the Colour event could either signal progress in repairing royal relationships or show how the split remains.
