Queen Camilla’s blunt two-word order to Princess Kate over Charlotte and George

Queen Camilla was reportedly caught on camera delivering a brief, two-word remark to Princess Kate regarding Princess Charlotte.

This unusual moment of tension occurred during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and committal service on September 19, 2022, when Queen Camilla gave a concise directive to Princess Kate.

The interaction, noticed by keen observers and interpreted by a lip-reading expert, unfolded as young royals Prince George and Princess Charlotte appeared to have a brief sibling disagreement during the solemn event.

Lip-reader Jeremy Freeman noted that Prince George seemed to be attempting to pinch his sister, causing Princess Charlotte to spin around and exclaim: “Ow!”

The incident reportedly prompted a disapproving response from their grandmother, Queen Camilla, who gestured towards Princess Charlotte and was said to have whispered to Kate: “Take her.”

The interaction quickly caught the attention of those tuning into the live broadcast.

Several viewers took to social media to discuss the moment, with one tweeting: “Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort, Camilla!”

Another questioned what Princess Charlotte might have said, writing: “Did she say wow, ow, or cow?”

Despite the brief drama, onlookers observed that the Princess remained composed and continued to support her older brother throughout the service.

Lip-readers claimed that Princess Charlotte, at one moment, leaned toward Prince George and softly reminded him of royal protocol, whispering: “You need to bow.”

Prince George, dressed in a dark suit and tie, appeared to acknowledge his sister’s guidance with a slight nod.

This wasn’t the first instance where Queen Camilla had a meaningful interaction with her step-grandchildren.

Back in May, during the coronation celebrations of King Charles III, Princess Charlotte experienced a brief stumble while curtsying to her grandfather.

Queen Camilla, noticing the moment, gave Princess Charlotte a subtle and reassuring pat on the shoulder as she walked by.

The dynamics between the young royals, especially during prominent events, have always drawn public curiosity.

Princess Charlotte and Prince George, as key figures in the line of succession, are frequently observed learning the nuances of royal etiquette under the careful guidance of their parents, Prince William and Princess Kate.
