“They Are Laughable For Sure”: Meghan And Harry Targeted Again In Latest Family Guy Satire

Part 2 of 2

Harry waves him off, saying, “Put it with the rest of them.” The bit escalates when Meghan receives a phone alert.

“Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco,” she tells him.

In a moment that resonated with ongoing public speculation, Harry groans, “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense,” seemingly regretting leaving the royal lifestyle behind for life in America.

Family Guy isn’t the only animated show to take aim. In 2023, South Park famously mocked the pair in an episode titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour. That parody portrayed them as Canadian royalty obsessed with convincing the world they wanted a normal life. They move into a house across the street from Kyle Broflovski, who quickly grows tired of their antics.

“I’m sick of hearing about them! But I can’t get away from them. They’re everywhere!” he complains to his friends.

Meghan reportedly caught at least part of that episode. According to The Spectator, an insider claimed she was “annoyed” and “overwhelmed” by the portrayal and “refuses to watch it all.”

The continued satire has sparked debate online. Some viewers feel the comedic jabs hit a nerve for a reason.

“Satire’s sharpest edge cuts where truth hides. Family Guy may exaggerate, but it often echoes what people are really wondering about public figures,” one commenter observed.

Others weren’t amused. One user wrote, “I don’t get why people think it’s funny to mock others all the time, it’s just a show but still, some people take it too far.”

A more scathing voice added, “They remain the walking, talking epitome of irrelevance, even in fashionable Montecito,” echoing sentiments from staunch anti-Meghan and Harry critics.
