However, supporters argue that Dandy appears to be a well-loved and well-cared-for dog, is unaware of his own color, and that his owner has every right to dye him as long as it’s done safely and humanely.
Despite his TikTok account’s popularity, Dandy has not been active on the platform since February. Over on Instagram, the most recent post, dated July, shows him back to his natural fur color as the dye has gradually faded.
