Effectively Get Rid of Fleas, Ants, and Roaches with This Easy Homemade Remedy

Pests in the home can be a persistent nuisance, but you don’t need harsh chemical products to keep them at bay. With this simple and effective DIY solution, you can naturally eliminate fleas, ants, and cockroaches from your living space.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of liquid dish soap (preferably biodegradable or natural)
  • 2 cups of rubbing alcohol or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of whole cloves
  • 1½ cups of water

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Make a clove infusion:
In a pot, bring the water to a boil and add the cloves. Let it boil for about a minute, then remove from heat. Cover and let it steep for 10 minutes so the cloves release their natural repellent properties.
  2. Mix the base:
In a separate container, combine the dish soap with the rubbing alcohol or apple cider vinegar.
  3. Combine everything:
Once the clove infusion has cooled, pour it into the soap and alcohol (or vinegar) mixture. Stir well to blend all the ingredients together.
  4. Bottle it up:
Pour the solution into a spray bottle and shake gently before each use.

How to Use:

  • Spray the mixture in corners, baseboards, door and window frames, and any other areas where insects tend to appear.
  • Apply regularly to keep pests under control and prevent them from returning.
  • Keep your home clean—free of food crumbs and moisture—as that’s essential to stop pests from multiplying.

Benefits of This Homemade Solution:

  • Effective: Cloves and vinegar are natural insect repellents.
  • Safe: Free from harsh or toxic chemicals, making it safe for your family and pets.
  • Affordable: Uses easy-to-find, inexpensive ingredients.
  • Versatile: Suitable for multiple areas around the home to prevent infestations.

With this easy trick, you can maintain a pest-free home naturally—without endangering your family’s health or that of your furry companions.
